1. Acceptance of terms
By engaging the services of Pillar Studios ("Pillar"), you ("Client") fully agree to the terms described in this document. If you do not agree with any item, please do not use our services.
2. The service
Pillar offers professional website creation and hosting for Brazilian contractors operating in the United States, under a recurring subscription model.
What is included
- Creation of a professional website tailored to your business (delivered within 48h after receiving the complete briefing)
- Site hosting on reliable infrastructure (Cloudflare)
- Free subdomain (
yourname.pages.dev) or connection to your own domain (Client covers domain cost) - Functional contact form, with leads sent directly to your email
- Uptime maintenance and infrastructure security
What is NOT included
To keep the price affordable and the service sustainable, some items are NOT part of the standard plan:
- Daily active support or marketing consulting
- Monthly traffic or metrics reports
- Management dashboard or control panel
- Frequent changes/edits to the site after delivery (one-off changes may be charged separately)
- Content production (copy, professional photos, videos)
- Paid traffic campaigns, advanced SEO, or social media management
3. Payment and renewal
- Payment is made on a recurring basis (monthly, quarterly, or annually, depending on the plan), processed via the Whop platform.
- The subscription amount is automatically charged to the registered card on the plan's anniversary date.
- If a payment fails (declined card, expired, etc.), the site stays online for up to 14 days while we attempt to charge again. After that, the site may be paused.
- Annual price adjustments may occur and will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice.
4. Cancellation
- You may cancel the subscription at any time, directly on the Whop platform or by notifying us via WhatsApp/email.
- There is no penalty or cancellation fee.
- Upon cancellation, the site remains live until the end of the already-paid period. After that, the site is paused.
- We keep a backup of your site for 90 days after cancellation, in case you want to reactivate.
- After 90 days, files are permanently deleted.
- If you want to come back after cancellation, you get the first month free as a courtesy.
5. "Satisfied or not charged" guarantee
Before charging, we build your site and show you a preview. You only pay if you approve.
- If you don't like the preview, we can make reasonable adjustments or simply not move forward โ at no cost.
- "Reasonable adjustments" means: color tweaks, swapping photos for ones you provide, copy changes. It does not include rebuilding the site from scratch or creating complex new features.
6. Intellectual property
Client content
All content YOU send us (photos, logo, copy, testimonials, company name, etc.) remains yours. You grant us a non-exclusive license to use that content solely to build, maintain, and operate your site.
Templates and code
The templates, design system, source code, and technical infrastructure used to build the site are property of Pillar. You have the right to use them as long as your subscription is active, but you do not have the right to copy, resell, or redistribute them.
After cancellation
If you cancel and want a copy of your site files (static HTML), we can provide them upon request during the 90-day window. Important: exported files do not include the backend (forms, lead processing) โ only the visual site.
7. Client responsibilities
By engaging Pillar, you agree to:
- Provide truthful and accurate information in the briefing
- Submit only content (photos, copy, logos) that you have the legal right to use โ you are responsible for ensuring there is no copyright or image rights violation
- Not use the site for illegal, fraudulent, discriminatory, or third-party-rights-violating activities
- Keep your payment information up to date
- Maintain access to the registered email to receive leads and important communications
8. Prohibited content
The site cannot be used to promote or host:
- Illegal, fraudulent content or content that violates U.S. or Brazilian laws
- Discriminatory, hate-filled, violent, or pornographic content
- Pyramid schemes, financial scams, or deceptive marketing
- Material that violates third-party copyright or intellectual property rights
In case of violation, we may suspend or cancel the service immediately, without refund.
9. Limitation of liability
- Pillar commits to keeping the site online with the typical Cloudflare SLA (~99.9% uptime), but cannot guarantee 100% availability.
- We are not responsible for commercial losses, lost profits, or indirect damages arising from temporary site downtime.
- We are not responsible for content submitted by the Client, nor for leads received via the form (you are responsible for following up with contacts).
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the Client in the last 6 months of subscription.
10. Privacy and data
The handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms.
11. Changes to terms
We may update these terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after that period represents acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any dispute will be resolved in the jurisdiction of Pillar Studios' domicile, except where applicable consumer law dictates otherwise.
